Shoulder: Feline Mantle
Chest: Mechbuilder's Overalls
Wrists: Celestial Bindings
Hands: Heavy Linen Gloves
Waist: Thick Ravager Belt

Shirt: Cerulean Filigreed Doublet

Main-hand: Arclight Spanner / Permafrost Dagger
Off-hand: Umbrella of Chi-Ji

Oh, hi there. I hope everyone is having lots of fun over the holidays! Now that the semester is over I've finally had some time to myself, so I'm back for the time being. My first offering is going to be this small series of sets inspired by the cast of the best show that ever was... Firefly!

The first set here is based off Kaylee Frye. This is intended to be used as a roleplay set, but the list of items above includes all the pieces necessary if you wish to transmog it. Obviously, the Arclight Spanner can't be transmogged so the dagger was my next best choice since it was the only one-handed item I could find that fit with the Asian theme in Firefly.

Let me know if you like this series and check back soon for the next set!

Merciless

Armor Type: Cloth
Restrictions: Mage Only

Head: Merciless Gladiator's Silk Cowl
Shoulder: Merciless Gladiator's Silk Amice
Back: Cloak of the Coming Night
Chest: Merciless Gladiator's Silk Raiment
Hands: Merciless Gladiator's Silk Handguards
Waist: Stardust Belt
Feet: Ringo's Blizzard Boots

Main-hand: Icecore Staff

I haven't been able to post here much lately! I've got a lot on my plate these days, so I haven't had much time to play WoW or for transmogging at all. Boo. I won't have much time for a good long while anyway, so I won't be able to post every week like I used to and I'll be taking down the request form. Sorry to anyone that has made a request recently, I just won't be able to help you out! :(

This is what my mage has been wearing through most of Mists of Pandaria. I haven't used any of the new gear introduced in the expansion yet, but I still think this fits theme somehow. Tier 5--and its recolours--always has and probably always will be my favorite mage set... I also really like using capes that still coordinate but don't have any of the dominant colours in the rest of the set. Hah. It's the little things, you know.

The Thoroughbred of Sin

Armor Type: Mail
Restrictions: None

Shoulder: Skyshatter Shoulderpads
Chest: Double Link Tunic
Hands: Lightning-Charged Gloves
Waist: Belt of the Blood Pit
Legs: Savage Gladiator Leggings
Feet: Tundrastrider Boots

Main-hand: Demise
Mount: Black Stallion

Finally, the last set I created for the Transmogolympics! The rules for this event, the equestrian, were to make a set that coordinated with one of the horse mounts (the zebra was not considered a horse mount). At first I was going to design a set based on the spectral steed you get from Tol Barad, but for some reason I just couldn't come up with anything good. The black stallion was the first mount I ever purchased, long ago when you could only get it from Menethil Harbor! The black and blue on the mount seemed to fit perfectly with the Might of Menethil (which, the horse originally being from Menethil, made sense to me to put the two together, hah) but since that mace is no longer in the game, I used a different item with the same model. For the rest of the set, I chose black items with hints of blue, or as close to it as I could get.

So this concludes my weekly feature on all the sets I used for the Transmogolympics. I hope you enjoyed looking at them as much as I did making them!

Pygmy Gnome Chieftain

Armor Type: Cloth
Restrictions: None

Head: Bad Mojo Mask
Shoulder: Claw-Fringe Mantle
Back: Forest Shroud
Chest: Beaded Robe
Wrists: Elunarian Cuffs
Hands: Ritual Gloves
Waist: Councillor's Sash
Feet: Hibernal Boots

Main-hand: Pulse Dagger
Off-hand: Khadgar's Knapsack

The freestyle event in the Transmogolympics was one of the most fun, but also one of the hardest. There were no restrictions to follow for this one, so it was a little difficult to pick out exactly what I wanted to do... the only thing I knew for sure is that I wanted it to be designed for a gnome! At first, I was going to do a stereotypical garden gnome set, but then I remembered I still had that Bad Mojo Mask in my bank way back from vanilla WoW. I guess that was all the inspiration I needed.

Next week is the final event, the equestrian!

The Red Knight

Armor Type: Plate
Restrictions: None

Head: Helm of Blazing Glory
Shoulder: Darksoul Shoulders
Back: Vengeance Wrap
Chest: Glory of the Defender
Hands: Ragesteel Gloves
Waist: Thorium Belt
Legs: Greaves of the Martyr
Feet: Vicious Pyrium Boots

Main-hand: Archmage's Guile
Off-hand: Pulsing Spellshield

I think out of all the transmog sets I made for the Transmogolympics, this one was my absolute favorite. I adore the red and silver colour scheme! Too bad it didn't win any medals, but I still love it.

Next week: Freestyle!

Panda Time!

Armor Type: Cloth
Restrictions: Mage Only

Head: Merciless Gladiator's Silk Cowl
Shoulder: Merciless Gladiator's Silk Amice
Chest: Imperial Red Tunic
Hands: Regal Gloves
Waist: Stardust Belt
Legs: Empowered Leggings
Feet: Saltarello Shoes
Tabard: Tushui Tabard (not picured)

Main-hand: Devotion

Mists of Pandaria is finally here! I haven't had much time to play these days, but after the first week I've managed to get my mage to level 88. The only thing I don't like about questing in this game is how silly your armor looks as you pick up new quest gear.. so of course I have my set transmogged! I usually try to dress my mage in nicer clothes than this. None of these items are new from the expansion, so who cares if they get a little dirty from questing? Hah. I haven't yet found any Pandaria gear that's caught my eye, except for the Staff of Trembling Will from the last boss in Temple of the Jade Serpent. If only it will drop for me...

I should note that my version of WMV doesn't have any of the new Pandaria gear so the tabard in the picture is similar, but not what the Tushui Tabard actually looks like.

Shoulder: Spaulders of the Endless Plains
Back: Hide of the Wild
Chest: Forest Leather Chestpiece
Hands: Umbrafen Gloves
Waist: Cord of Lost Hope
Legs: Living Leggings
Feet: Forest Leather Boots

Main-hand: Saliva Corroded Pike

The javelin had to be my least favorite Transmogolympics event. I don't know why I had such a hard time picking out a good outfit to go with a polearm... I wasn't entirely happy with the end result, but I was running out of time! So, not my best work, but here it is anyway!

Next week, fencing!

Archery Training

Armor Type: Mail
Restrictions: None

Shoulder: Fallen Snow Shoulderguards
Chest: Chestguard of the Naz'jar
Hands: Rock-Giant's Pinky Cover
Waist: Lord's Girdle
Legs: Legguards of Revelation
Feet: Atoll Treaders

Main-hand: Ironfeather Longbow

This was for the archery event in the Transmogolympics in which contestants had to design a set that compliments a bow of their choice. I absolutely looooove this bow, so I had to pick it! It was a little difficult finding pieces in the right colour that also had the right look, but I'm so happy with how it turned out. I've been wanting to design a set for this bow for a long, long time so I guess this was just the motivation I needed.

Check back next Thursday for the javelin!

Chest: Grizzly Jerkin
Wrists: Veteran's Leather Bracers
Hands: Inscribed Leather Gloves
Waist: Cord of Dark Suffering
Legs: Wild Draenish Leggings
Feet: Wild Draenish Boots

Weapons: Sporeling Claw

Time for another Transmogolympics recap! This set was the one I designed for the wrestling event. Competitors had to create a set that incorporated one of the big "championship" style belts. This set was the only one I won a medal in, haha. I got a silver! Woohoo!

Come back next week for the archery event!

Chest: Shining Carapace of Glory
Hands: Gauntlets of Delicate Aim
Waist: Waistguard of New Days
Legs: Void Sentry Legplates
Feet: Boots of Valiance

Main-hand: Cryptmaker

So here is the set I made for the hammer throw event in the Transmogolympics. This is one of my favorites from all of the events, but sadly it did not place. Boohoo! Ah well, if I had a plate-wearing dwarf, I'd be wearing this all the time!

Check back next Thursday for the discus!

Ride

Restrictions: Horde only

Head: Other-Eye Patch
Shoulder: Boulder Pads
Chest: Chestguard of the Bleak Scarab
Wrists: Light Leather Bracers
Hands: Elven Spirit Claws
Waist: Wrathful Gladiator's Belt of Triumph
Legs: Replica General's Leather Legguards
Feet: Dragonhawk Boots

Weapons: Jagged Bone Fist

Today I am  showcasing my 'cyclist' set for the Transmogolympics. There was a bit of an issue with my entries being misplaced, so this one was not judged, but it was all fixed for the following event, the hammer throw, which I will feature here next Thursday. Yay!

Since I wasn't too concerned with the availability of the sets I created for the Transmogolympics, this one does feature the old PvP leggings. If you do not have a sufficient title to buy the replica gear, then this set doesn't exactly work. Hah! Even so, it may give you some ideas!

The Transmogolympics Have Begun

Image from Amateur Azerothian
Holy cows, life is busy lately! I haven't been posting much in the pre-expansion lull, but hopefully that will all change once there's a new selection of gear to transmogrify. Since I have been away, the Transmogolympics events are finally being announced! So far two of them (cycling and hammer throw) have been completed, and some of you may have already seen the results. I have not yet placed in an event (boo!) but taking a look at the other competitors, I really don't feel so bad! There's some amazing mogging going on so I encourage you to head over to Amateur Azerothian and take a look!

Now I know I posted this a while back when I initially entered the Transmogolympics, but to recap here is the flag-bearer for my chosen faction, the Aldor. I will begin posting the sets I created as the winners are announced, so check back here every week starting on Thursday for a detailed list of all the items I chose.

Armor Type: Cloth
Restrictions: Mage only

Shoulder: Pauldrons of the Aldor
Back: Cloak of Entropy
Chest: Robes of the Exalted
Wrists: Runed Spell-Cuffs
Hands: Regal Gloves
Waist: Belt of Arcane Storms
Feet: Enigma Boots

Main-hand: Starshard Edge
Off-hand: Mystic Tome

Surprise, another blue set! Hah, seems like my mage has a favorite colour.

If you've been following the Transmogolympics, the cut-off for submissions is today! I got all nine of my "medal events" finished a few days early, so now I'm just waiting for the sets to be judged. Once all the judging and awarding has been finished with, I will be posting one outfit a week starting on the first Thursday of September. I made some pretty nice sets for the Mogolympics if I don't say so myself... I'm excited to share them with everyone! Until then check out my flagbearer set and, of course, good luck to all the other contestants!

Chest: Mail of Crimson Coins
Hands: Arrowflick Gauntlets
Waist: Tarren Mill Defender's Cinch
Legs: Leggings of the Bloodless Knight

Weapons: Siren's Cry / Piercing Glaive

I've been wanting to use that chest piece for a Sexy Sunday in soooo long! I actually think this looks a little bit nicer on a male model, but alas... Today the cleavage must be exposed!

Rub My Belly!

Armor Type: Cloth
Restrictions: Alliance only

Shoulder: Mantle of the Tribunal
Chest: Robes of Hoarse Breaths
Hands: Belly Rubbers
Waist: Sash of the Servant
Feet: Mistyreed Boots

Main-hand: Silvery Sylvan Stave

Green sets make me happy. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like there is less (attractive) green gear out there compared to all the other colours. As it is this set is Alliance only, but if you switch the staff to something else like, say, Jaina's Staff, and use the Horde version of the gloves, Petting Gloves, all your orcs and trolls can wear this set too. Hooray!

Head: Enigma Circlet
Shoulder: Enigma Shoulderpads
Chest: Enigma Robe
Hands: Rockwurm Hide Handwraps
Waist: Belt of Arcane Storms
Feet: Enigma Boots

Main-hand: Starshard Edge
Off-hand: Mystic Tome

For some reason, WMV did something funny to the gloves with this robe, so take a look at the 3D view on Wowhead. It makes me wonder if they used to have a pair of gloves that went with the Enigma set, or maybe it was just never put in the game. Too bad! I like these glitchy gloves a lot better.

Shoulder: Spaulders of the Monstrosity
Chest: Grizzly Jerkin
Hands: Waterworn Handguards
Waist: Replica Wildheart Belt
Legs: Bladeshadow Leggings
Feet: Titan-Forged Boots of Triumph

Weapons: Blood Weeper / Devotion

That's right, Sexy Sunday is for men too! This set works well for both male and female characters, though I think I like it better on males. Since this set is wearable by both druids and rogues, there is a second option for the weapons if you have a staff equipped.

Transmogolympics!

Transmogolympics logo from Amateur Azerothian
So, I have entered the Transmogolympics. The London 2012 Summer Olympics are starting up at the end of July, so in honor of the event JD from Amateur Azerothian has come up with another contest for us! This sounded like a lot of fun, and me being the transmog-crazed lunatic that I am, entering was a no-brainer. Each contestant is required to come up with ten transmog sets, one for each of the 'events' in the Transmogolympics:

    • Flagbearer - Build an outfit for your randomly assigned faction using their tabard. This is for appearance only; Flagbearer sets do not award a medal.
    • Archery – Build an outfit around your favourite bow.
    • Cycling – Build a biker outfit to compliment the Chopper. It must be either Leather or Mail.
    • Discus – Build an outfit around one of the shield skins seen here
    • Equestrian – Build an outfit to compliment one of the horse mounts in the game. (Faction limitations apply, so no Orcs on a Stormwind pony)
    • Fencing – Time for some swordplay. Build your best outfit around the 1h sword of your choice.
    • Javelin – Build an outfit around the polearm of your choice.
    • Hammer Throw – Build an outfit around your favourite two-handed hammer.
    • Wrestling – We’re going to deviate from olympic wrestling and go to the sports entertainment aspect instead. Using one of the “championship” belts, design your own Azerothian pro wrestler. Think of the oversized belts, such as the Firemend Cinch seen here.
    • Freestyle – Build your own NPC. Could be an innkeeper, could be the Green Orc Lantern. Doesn’t matter.

We are not to show off our sets until after the Transmogolympics are over, but since the flag bearer event does not reward a medal we are allowed to post them on our blogs for everyone to see. My assigned faction was the Aldor, which is great because I really like purple.

    Armor Type: Plate
    Restrictions: None

    Shoulder: Pauldrons of Tempered Will
    Chest: Protectorate Breastplate
Hands: Gauntlets of the Golden Thorn
    Waist: Girdle of Many Blessings
    Legs: Magistrate's Greaves
    Feet: Pillarfoot Greaves
    Tabard: Aldor Tabard

    Main-hand: Hammer of Grief

I decided to make purple more of an accent colour because I really did not want my poor, little flag bearer to end up looking like a giant grape. The icon on the tabard is a lovely bronze, so I focused on that instead. I also never noticed that mace until now, but it's pretty awesome. It was the perfect fit!

Good luck to my fellow Transmogolympians!

    Blood and Flame

    Armor Type: Cloth
    Restrictions: Mage only

    Head: Circle of Flame
    Shoulder: Valorous Kirin Tor Shoulderpads
    Chest: The Sanctum's Flowing Vestments
    Hands: Rockwurm Hide Handwraps
    Waist: Gourmand's Sash
    Feet: Regal Boots

    Main-hand: Blood Weeper
    Off-hand: Swamplight Lantern

WMV did something funny to most of the items in this set, so I have to say that it looks much, much nicer in-game. I would have used something else for the off-hand, but I really had nothing else in my bank that would go. I suppose that is because I only have 2 bank slots left so I don't really have the space for anything else! My poor little mage is finally reaching that point where there simply aren't any new sets to wear because I've already used every combination of all the gear in my collection. Time for some purging! Either that, or get ready for some pretty funky (ie. ugly) transmog sets...

    Waist: Captain Sanders' Sash
    Legs: Astralaan Pants
    Feet: Fire Striders

Happy Canada Day! Woohoo! Today will be a day filled with eating, drinking, singing and general merrymaking. Everyone (in this country, that is) will be wearing red and white today, so why not let your WoW character play along? Hah, I don't expect anyone to actually use this set, but it was fun for me nonetheless.

    Reader Submission!

Woohoo! Another reader submission! This time we're taking a look at very pretty priest named Blythe from Quel'Thalas. Props to this lady for using Benediction, that staff is awesome! I'm a big fan of this set, there's lots of pieces from different sets and some pretty clever colour coordination. Good job!

    Blue Overalls

    Waist: Grimgore Noose
Feet: Wrathful Gladiator's Treads of Salvation

    Main-hand: Ice Spire Scepter
    Off-hand: Divine Companion

I got another request, this time from someone on the same server as me, yay! A priest by the name of Rhylie asked me to help her with a transmog set using the Blue Overalls that doesn't look like a fisherman or Mario. She also wanted the Arcane Cover and Double-Stitched Woolen Shoulders included in the outfit. I hope this satisfies!

    Waist: Gourmand's Sash
    Feet: Regal Boots

    Main-hand: Jaded Crystal Dagger
    Off-hand: Divine Companion

I got some new transmog gear this week! I absolutely love mage tier 8, but I don't have the complete 10-man version yet. Until then, I am settling for this blue recolour with a robe instead of chest piece and pants. One of the reasons why I like tier 8 so much is because it's the only mage set in the game that has pants instead of a robe, and that is also why I am not completely satisfied with this recolour. Good thing I like Ulduar!

    Waist: Laughing Skull Waistguard
    Feet: Vital Boots

    Main-hand: Staff of the Plaguehound

I was so excited to see another reader submission in my inbox! Another lovely set, this time from a priest named Snisni. I really like this robe with the priest vengeful gladiator's set. She did a wonderful job! I love getting submissions, so if you would like to send in a set of your own check out the Submissions page for more details.

    Plate Demon Hunter

    Armor Type: Plate
    Restrictions: Death Knight only

    Shoulder: Shoulderplates of Everlasting Pain
    Chest: Warrior's Embrace
    Hands: Acherus Knight's Gauntlets
    Waist: Flame-Bathed Steel Girdle
    Legs: Acherus Knight's Legplates
    Feet: Tempered Saronite Boots

    Main-hand: Cruel Barb
    Off-hand: Cruel Barb

Now plate-wearers can look like demon hunters too! Unfortunately, this set is only for death knights. I don't know much about the lore surrounding demon hunters, but they all seem to wear skirts instead of pants and the DK starter set has one of the very few plate models that display as a skirt. I seem to have a thing for dark blue, so my first instinct was not to go for the paladin tier 3 recolour. Maybe one day I will be able to come up with something that all plate-wearers can use!

Just trying something a little different here. I recently finished my loremaster achievement and I picked this robe up on the way. The colours seemed rather unique so I had to find space for it in my bank!

Waist: Sash of the Grand Hunt
Legs: Chain Links of the Tumultuous Storm
    Feet: Sentinel Scouting Greaves

    Main-hand: Blade of Serration
    Off-hand: Bastion of Purity

I've been trying to come up with something that goes with that chest pieace for aaaages. I'm quite happy with how this set turned out, except the boots aren't a perfect match. There doesn't seem to be a better option so I guess this is what we have to deal with!

If you're into podcasts, later on today I will be talking transmog on the Holy Shatt podcast. Who knows how much of a fool I will make of myself this time? Come check out the live stream at 10pm EST!

Feet: Greaves of Wu the Elder
    Tabard: Tabard of the Lightbringer

    Main-hand: Falric's Wrist-Chopper
Off-hand: Lost Pavise of the Blue Flight

A little while ago I received a request from a warrior that goes by the name Faerrun for a plate set that goes with the Tabard of the Lightbringer. I have to admit, this one was pretty difficult since I just could not find a pair of shoulders I thought suited the colour scheme and overall art style. I originally wanted something more silvery than this, but I think it still ended up looking really nice!

    Main-hand: Riftmaker
    Off-hand: Battle Tome

For some reason WoW Model Viewer doesn't show the purple glow on the dagger, but if you check out the link to Wowhead you can see it in all its purple glory. Purple isn't a colour I normally use on my mage, but I really like the Battle Tome and I just wanted to use it this week.

I did not make this set specifically for the Staff of Dominance, but I ended up really liking the way it looks with this robe. It's one of my favorite weapons for transmogging, so I was more than a little happy that I found another set to go with it!

    Main-hand: Blade of Serration
    Off-hand: Swamplight Lantern

I really love mage tier 5 as well as this blue recolour. This time I tried to focus more on the gold and brown rather than the blue when picking out my accessories, I think it turned out very nicely. Bonus points to you if you get my reference in the title of this post!

Also, I am in the process of moving so sorry for any delays on requested sets. I'll try to get them done as soon as possible!

It should be noted that this set, as it is, is a bit unfinished. Mostly because I was in a hurry and didn't pick out any weapons and also because I felt this was most appropriate for a troll shaman (which is why there are no boots yet) and have no idea what shamans usually equip these days. So... oops. I'll fix it later on this week, I promise!

WoW Factor Comes to Emerald Dream

    The Violent Apathy Fashion Friends
    The Violent Apathy Fashion Friends

I made a post last week mentioning the WoW Factor coming to my server, Emerald Dream. The day finally came this past Friday and it was a toooon of fun! There is already a very nice write-up on the event over on WoW Roleplay Gear, which you should definitely read. If you have the means, I would highly recommend you try sponsoring your own WoW Factor show on your server. It was amazing to see so many people come out for the show and have so many others donate gold to keep it going longer! A big thanks to the judges--Elvine, Ironyca, Noelani and guest Caylena--that came to the server and to all my guild members that donated gold so Violent Apathy could sponsor the event!

Since it is still Tuesday, to the left you will see the transmog set I wore to the WoW Factor. Since my guild was sponsoring the event I wasn't going to enter, but vanity got the better of me and I entered the final round to see what would happen. This outfit won me 10k! If you've looked back far enough in my archive to see my first post you may recognize this set, only this time with a few minor changes.

    Chest: Arcane Robe
    Feet: Regal Boots

    Main-hand: Jaded Crystal Dagger
    Off-hand: Mystic Tome

Legs: Legplates of the Violet Champion
    Feet: Kneebreaker Boots

Is that a sexy death knight? Yeah, that's a sexy death knight. The best thing about this set is that any plate-wearing class can use it. Wear it on your paladin and be a walking paradox!

    Cerafush

    Armor Type: Plate
    Restrictions: None

    Head: Dragonsteel Faceplate
    Shoulder: Pauldrons of Unnatural Death
    Back: Peerless Cloak
    Chest: Tempered Saronite Breastplate
    Hands: Crude Discolored Battlegrips
    Waist: Tempered Saronite Belt
    Legs: Tempered Saronite Legplates
    Feet: Spiked Titansteel Treads

    Main-hand: Runed Soulblade

This week's request comes from one of my favorite podcasters and all around cool guy, Ceraphus! There are many links associated with Ceraphus since he's pretty busy around the internet; there's a podcast, a couple of blogs and a guild that's been around since the original WoW beta. Phew!

If you are not Ceraphus or a death knight but still want to replicate this set, the Runeblade of Baron Rivendare has the same model as the Runed Soulblade, and is a rare drop from Lord Aurius Rivendare.

    Happy hunting!

Have a Little Priest (and the WoW Factor Show)

    Armor Type: Cloth
    Restrictions: None

    Head: Cowl of Benevolence
    Shoulder: Amice of Brilliant Light
    Back: Mantle of Vivification
    Chest: Runecloth Robe
    Hands: Gossamer Gloves
    Waist: Historian's Sash
    Feet: Ringo's Blizzard Boots

    Main-hand: Jaded Crystal Dagger
    Off-hand: Fire Runed Grimoire

I've had that head and shoulder combination sitting in my bank for some time but I was never really able to come up with anything that I liked with it. I also have the robe to go along with them, and although priest tier 6 is one of my all-time favorite sets in the game, I didn't really want to look exactly like a priest. This still looks pretty priestly to me, but at least I don't feel like I'm just wearing a recoloured set, so I'm happy!

Also, if any of you readers play on Emerald Dream (US), the WoW Factor is coming to our server this weekend! It's scheduled for Saturday, May 26 at 9pm EST. I'm so excited! My guild, Violent Apathy, will be sponsoring the event so you can expect to see a lot of us out there! If you're not able to come participate in the event, please come by just to watch. It will be lots fun, I hope! Check out this forum post for more details!

Waist: Ruthless Gladiator's Cord of Accuracy
    Feet: Spider Silk Slippers

    Main-hand: Legacy of Arlokk

It's my favorite day of the week! I really like this set, mostly because you don't see many players dressing all in green. It really stands out in a crowd!

A few days ago I got another request, this time from a druid named Mandibleclaw. They wanted a ferocious lookin' animal-themed set. Rooooar! I hope this fits the bill!

    Electric Funeral Pyre

    Armor Type: Cloth
    Restriction: Mage only

    Shoulder: Heroes' Frostfire Shoulderpads
    Chest: Funeral Pyre Vestment
    Wrists: Gossamer Bracers
    Hands: Gossamer Gloves
    Waist: Gossamer Belt
    Feet: Gossamer Boots

    Main-hand: Blade of Serration
    Off-hand: Fire Runed Grimoire

At first, I hated these shoulders and was going to get rid of them. You don't really see a whole lot of orange and blue cloth armor, but it provided an interesting challenge to match something that didn't include any other tier 7 pieces. I do not want to have to go back into Naxxramas unless absolutely necessary!

Still looking for a better off-hand item...

    Furgotten Love

    Armor Type: Cloth
    Restrictions: Alliance Only

    Shoulder: Mantle of the Locusts
    Back: Glacial Cloak
    Chest: Fur Covered Robe
    Hands: Ebonweave Gloves
    Waist: Girdle of Nobility
    Feet: Linen Boots

Main-hand: Halion, Staff of Forgotten Love / Engraved Gargoyle Femur

Sunday, Sexy Sunday! WoW Model Viewer doesn't show the gloves very well, so I'd recommend checking out the 3D view on Wowhead to get an idea of how it would really look. There is also an alternative option linked for the main-hand weapon if you don't really feel like going into ICC. I really wouldn't blame you...

Lay Off My Blue Celestial Shoes

    Armor Type: Cloth
    Restrictions: None

    Head: Shadoweave Mask
    Shoulder: Titan-Forged Shoulderpads of Salvation
    Back: Dory's Embrace
    Chest: Anraphet's Regalia
    Hands: Shadowy Laced Handwraps
Waist: Wrathful Gladiator's Cord of Alacrity
    Feet: Celestial Slippers

    Main-hand: Tainted Twig of Nordrassil

It's been a while since we had a transmog set for our little gnome buddies. I tend to dislike most headpieces on gnomes just because they look so unproportionately gigantic, but these bandana mask things are one of the few styles that don't make me think of those bobble head toys you put in your car.

This set doesn't just look good on gnomes either, I'm tempted to farm it up for my mage! I really like the blue and purple together and I really, really like that staff. If only I didn't have to use a stupid dagger, siiiiigh.

    Silver-Thread and Red

    Armor Type: Cloth
    Restrictions: None

    Head: Circle of Flame
    Shoulder: Soulstealer Mantle
    Back: Vengeance Wrap
    Chest: Silver-Thread Robe
    Hands: Netherweave Gloves
    Waist: Silver-Thread Sash
    Feet: Saltarello Shoes

    Main-hand: Blood Weeper
    Off-hand: Fire Runed Grimoire

I'm trying something different this week. I suppose this set is more warlocky than magey, but I bought this robe ages ago and I had to use it eventually... I know the cloak is red, but I thought it was a nice contrast and the red thing on the belt kind of ties it all in. Or maybe I'm just silly.

    Reader Submission!

A few days ago, I got a lovely surprise in my email! A very pretty lady that goes by the name @byhayley on Twitter sent me a few screenshots of her hunter Traxden and paladin Aryas in their transmog sets and I think they look faaaantastic. Seriously, seeing this made my day. It's so nice to get feedback from you guys, so keep it coming!

Nothing Comes Between Me and My Big Sword!

    Armor Type: Plate
    Restrictions: None

    Shoulder: Spaulders of Manifold Eyes
    Back: Mantle of Fury
    Chest: Bloodfist Breastplate
    Hands: Bloodfist Gloves
    Waist: Stormforged Belt
    Legs: Bloodfist Legplates
    Feet: Bloodfist Greaves

    Main-hand: Keen Obsidian Edged Blade

It's Sexy Sunday! If you're not up to doing heroic Firelands, the normal version of the shoulders will do just fine. Bladed Flamewrath Cover also provides a nice alternative cloak if you do not have access to the Mantle of Fury.
